One of my favorite things about making breakfast sandwiches, is that with the right recipe you have so many ways to make it your own.

And this recipe not only tastes amazing as is, it’s a great base for adding many other great flavor combinations. In fact, I use this recipe for the majority of breakfast egg sandwiches I make for my family.

Ingredient List

  • Bread
  • Hard Boiled Egg
  • Butter
  • Tomato
  • Cheese
  • Garlic Salt

Bread: There are so many great bread options you can use to make your egg sandwiches. Some great options are English muffin, brioche, croissant, Italian bread, and regular sandwich bread. Go with your favorite!

Eggs: Boil one egg for each sandwich. More than that tends to slide out. Slice your hardboiled eggs before adding them to your sandwich.

Cheese: This is another great way to make each sandwich your own. Almost any sandwich cheese tastes great with hard boiled eggs. I often use American cheese slices, sharp cheddar, provolone, and even swiss.
